Review
A rather mixed offering: the chapter extracts from his books are a bit tough without there being some summary/critique for those books; whereas the memoirs and essays are fantastic and give a sense of an author struggling with post-colonial thought and figuring out a new generation of Karnataka-Indian writing in English (at the time).
