While a digital garden or a knowledge base is a great way of curating and nurturing a growing space with links, resources, information and insights, there are many scenarios where collaborating organisations/networks/individuals will need to build a common bulletin board which is a kind of a shared space that is fed into by all of them and is also used by all of them. Very much akin to an actual bulletin board that is on a wall but in this case is at an online wall and is contributed to (wiki-style) by people in these differing organisations/networks typically at different geographies. Allows an asynchronous mutual shared board that benefits a collective. What seems to be a good way to implement it with least pain and reasonable operational efficiency by individuals and teams at each participating node

  1. Padlet/Miro/Figjam type seems least painful
  2. Wiki-style platforms are good but possibly higher on maintenance, settting up and possibly a little more training-intensive than option 1
  3. Notion/Obsidian type platforms (such as this one: daktre notes) that are richer and allow for cross-linking/inter-linking but may be too much of a heavy-duty tool for a simpler ask
