This article from the interestingly named Journal of Controversial Ideas shared by SQ with me over WA had been filed for further reading given my own views on the thick layer of privilege underlying notions of merit as they are in practice in our society at least. On scanning the article, it seems engagement-worthy even if not to be agreed with. Also the article’s entry-point is on doing science rather than science in practice.
